Questions & Answers

Frequently Asked
Questions

Straight answers about septic installation, repairs, and what to expect when you work with us.

When can you start?

This is genuinely the most common question we get, and we understand why. We give you a real answer based on our current workload — no vague non-commitments. Call or message us and we'll tell you where things stand and when we can realistically get to you.

How long will the job take?

It depends on the scope of the project. A full septic installation involves more coordination — equipment, materials, Health Department inspections — than a repair call. When we talk through your project, we'll give you a realistic timeframe based on what's actually involved.

Do you do soil testing or system design?

No. Soil evaluation and system design are typically performed by a licensed soil evaluator or engineer before you hire a contractor. Once you have Health Department approval in hand, that's when you call us to do the installation. If you're not sure where to start, we're happy to explain the process.

Do you pump septic tanks?

No, we don't offer pumping services. We can point you toward the right resource if that's what you need.

Is your work inspected and approved?

Yes — every installation. Pullins Septic & Ground Works submits the job to the local Health Department and works through every required inspection. After final approval, your 1-year bond goes on file. This is not optional and it's not something we skip.

Are you licensed?

Yes. We hold a state septic installer license, a CDL, and an EPA Universal Refrigerant License. Every system we install is authorized by the local Health Department.

How do I know the system is working properly when you're done?

The Health Department performs a final inspection and approves the system before it's considered complete. That inspection is your independent confirmation that the system was installed correctly and is operational.

Do you work weekends?

Yes. We're available 7 days a week for installations, repairs, concrete, and grading work.

What should I do if I have an emergency septic issue?

Call 937-608-8083 and leave a message. We return calls as quickly as possible. Describe what you're experiencing and we'll work through next steps with you.

Will you damage my yard?

Septic installation and groundwork require heavy equipment — there's no getting around it. What we do is take the condition of your property seriously. Before we leave, we grade the affected areas and do our best to restore your yard. It won't look like nothing happened, but we won't leave you with a disaster either.

Do you serve my area?

We're based in Xenia, Ohio and serve the greater Dayton area — Greene, Montgomery, Warren, Clark counties and surrounding areas within about 50 miles. Not sure? Call us and we'll give you a direct answer.
